The Green Builders Council of DC was formed recently by a group of environmentally conscious developers and construction firms in an effort to help the District of Columbia build our green economy.

 

Our mission statement:

"In the spirit of cooperation and partnership, the Green Builders Council of DC offers our services, advice, and counsel to the District of Columbia as the city strives to build a robust Green Economy. As some of the regions’ largest employers and employer associations, we are uniquely qualified to help with the preparation of current and future workers for tomorrow’s Green Collar jobs, especially in the construction industry. We have a wealth of experience building projects to the highest environmental standards, and we are firmly committed to ensuring our workforce is trained in eco-friendly modes of construction."
